Metis Talent Management brand new website goes live

Last fortnight was a joy, as we came to the launch of Metis Talent Management's website. Metis is a Singapore based organisation that advises clients on Talent Management with a primary focus on Talent Development and Organisation Design. Best wishes to team Metis!

The other great thing is how folks at Metis approached this by going in for a full overhaul, including getting a new logo and brand colours. Do leave your comments on what you feel about the website and the logo!!

Confirmed:Other Dads watch Pogo TV Channel too!

My wife remains quite annoyed by my daughter's addiction to Pogo channel. She remains even more annoyed by the fact that much against her rightful protestations, my daughter is joined by me in watching shows such as M.A.D and Takeshi's Castle (Oh, have you heard the hilarious voiceover provided by the very talented Javed Jaffrey? !). And just btw, even now my TV is showing a Harry Potter movie and I am the only viewer in my house!!

If that generates your sympathies for my wife, read this. I recently noticed a Hitachi AC ad on Pogo. Now kids don't order ACs, which means someone told Hitachi (or provided somewhat credible viewership data) that dads and mums watch the channel too!! And hey wait, they just showed a Tanishq jewelry ad. Pogo, thanks for making it easy for me to accept this reality!!!

Kids don't buy ACs, that's true, but I am guessing they are the biggest influencers of AC buying.

If the kid decides he wants an AC, does the parent really have much of a choice? ;)

I would suggest you start writing books and stories...

Your posts sound similar to chetan bhagat's way of thinking and choice of words...sarcastic humor

FROM THE 'SETS' OF THE MOVIE 'GANDHI'

I took this picture from a train as it ambled its way over the bridge on the river Son near Patna (Exact location Koilwar or Koelwar as you choose to spell it)
Discerning folks will recall the scene in the movie 'Gandhi' where a steam loco driven train halts on this bridge(from where this picture is taken) and passengers, including Gandhiji go down to the river. It is a very touching scene as Gandhiji notices a poor lady trying to cover her body with whatever little clothes she could afford and Gandhiji quietly letting go of a cloth that was on his shoulder so that the flow of the water leads the cloth to the lady. I have crossed this bridge so many times and it feels so serene and calm at this place.
Only that this is not the movie set, but the location of one of the historical experiences of …
